April 12th – 14th, Fashion Design and Fashion Management students took part in the annual cultural immersion trip to Pekalongan as part of the Fashion Design 2 and Design Realisation and Promotion 1 classes. The three-day journey offered a deep dive into Indonesian textile heritage through direct engagement with local artisans. From batik-making to exploring the region’s rich flora, fauna, and architectural beauty, students embraced hands-on learning and primary research, gaining invaluable inspiration for their creative journeys.
