As part of their learning journey, BINUSIAN 2028 students from the Fashion Program at BINUS University presented their original trench coat collections in a mini fashion show. The runway presentation marked the culmination of their design process before the garments were later exhibited on campus for the BINUS community.

Throughout the project, students were challenged to develop a trench coat from concept to completion. The process involved research, design development, pattern making, garment construction, and finishing, allowing them to strengthen both their creative thinking and technical skills. Each piece reflected the student’s individual design perspective while showcasing the craftsmanship developed throughout the course.
The mini fashion show gave students the opportunity to experience how a fashion collection is presented in a real runway setting. Seeing their garments worn by models allowed them to better understand the importance of styling, presentation, and visual storytelling in bringing a design concept to life.

Following the runway presentation, the trench coat collections were displayed on campus, where students, lecturers, and visitors could appreciate the details and creativity behind each garment. The exhibition celebrated not only the final outcome but also the dedication and effort invested throughout the design process.

Through experiences like this, the Fashion Program at BINUS University continues to encourage students to apply their knowledge beyond the classroom. By combining hands-on projects with presentation opportunities, students gain valuable experience that prepares them for the professional fashion industry.
